What are XEOMIN/BOTOX services?
BOTOX and XEOMIN are both popular cosmetic treatments used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the face. They are both work by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles, smoothing out the skin above them. BOTOX has been around since the 1980s and is one of the most widely recognized brand names in the field of cosmetic treatments. XEOMIN is a newer product that was approved by the FDA in 2010 and has been gaining popularity in recent years.
One of the main differences between BOTOX and XEOMIN is that XEOMIN does not contain any additives or preservatives. This may reduce the risk of allergic reactions and can make it a good option for people who have had negative reactions to other botulinum toxin treatments. Additionally, XEOMIN is considered a “naked” injectable because it does not contain any proteins. This means that the body is less likely to develop a resistance to it over time, which can be a concern with other treatments.
Both BOTOX and XEOMIN are typically used to treat forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet. The effects of both treatments typically last between three to six months. The right treatment for you will depend on your individual needs and goals, and our experienced dentists will help determine which option is best for you.
